The following measures shall be taken to reduce the emission of nitrogen oxides: 1) For the boiler, which is thermally induced NOx, it is necessary to reduce the maximum temperature of boiler combustion when N2 and O2 produce NOx under high temperature during combustion; Reduce the excess air coefficient and oxygen concentration during combustion and reduce the range of high combustion temperature. 2)For fuel type NOx such as gas generator, it is necessary to reduce the contact coefficient between fuel and excess air, control the early mixing of fuel and air or increase the fuel concentration into the furnace.

No matter the emission of nitrogen oxides is harmful to human health, it will also cause air pollution, such as ozone pollution, acid rain, particulate matter pollution and eutrophication.

The impact of nitrogen oxide pollution on health may stimulate respiratory organs and lead to poisoning. It may also lead to cancer and cause very serious effects on human body.

Nitrogen oxides NOx will cause soil acidification, and nitrogen oxides NOx and sulfur dioxide SO2 discharged into the atmosphere will lead to the formation of acid rain. Rainwater also flows into rivers and lakes, oceans and groundwater, causing rich oxidation of water bodies, leading to changes in soil composition, and eventually leading to ecosystem imbalance.
