Reaction principle:
Under the action of a catalyst (usually containing alkali metals such as iron, vanadium, chromium, cobalt or molybdenum), NOx in the flue gas reacts with the injected ammonia (NH3) in the temperature range of 200-450 ° C to produce nitrogen and water. The main reaction equations are as follows:

6NO₂+8NH₃→7N₂+12H₂O
