With the development of economic globalization, the emission control of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the tail gas of industrial boilers and pyrolysis gasifiers has become particularly important. SCR (Selective catalytic reduction) denitrification technology has been widely used in the field of industrial flue gas denitrification due to its high efficiency and reliability.
SCR denitrification technology under a certain catalyst and temperature, ammonia NH₃ reacts with NOx to convert NOx into harmless nitrogen N₂ and water H₂O. The core of this technology lies in the catalyst, which promotes the selective reaction between ammonia and NOx. The reaction equation is:
• NH₃·H₂O→NH₃↑+H₂O (Urea hydrolysis reaction)
• NO+NO₂+2NH₃→2N₂↑+3H₂O ₃
• 4NO+O₂+4NH₃→4N₂↑+6H₂O ₃ (NO reduction reaction)
• 2NO₂+O₂+4NH₃→3N₂↑+6H₂O ₃ (nitrogen dioxide reduction reaction)
The results showed that under the action of a certain catalyst, NOx ₃ reacts with NH to form harmless N₂ and H₂O, which effectively reduces the emission of harmful substances.
